Adam Doerner

Person · Born 1858 · Melrose, OR

German immigrant from the Palatinate who planted grapes on his farm in the Melrose area of the Umpqua Valley in 1889 and made wine and brandy until Prohibition. Family tradition holds that he had worked at Beringer in St. Helena and came to the Umpqua through the von Pessl family.
