David Heatherbell

New Zealand food scientist with an Oregon State University PhD who returned to OSU as professor of food science and technology and enology. With David Adelsheim he persuaded Raymond Bernard in 1984 to share the Dijon clones with Oregon, and he helped establish the International Cool Climate Symposium before leading Lincoln University's wine programme for 16 years.
