Peter Britt's nineteenth-century vineyard and winery at Jacksonville, described as Oregon's first winery. It stopped production when Britt died in 1905; the Wisnovsky family's Valley View Winery in the Applegate Valley, planted in 1972, is a separate business named in its honor.
